Following receipt and payment of your order you will be notified of the delivery date. We will use all reasonable efforts to try and keep to the agreed delivery date. However, in very extreme circumstances these may be subject to strikes, lockouts, shortages of labour or materials, breakdowns of machinery or other factors beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right for a reasonable extension of time for delivery in such cases. Notification of change of delivery date will be made.
PLEASE NOTE: PRIOR TO DELIVERY
Incite Interiors Ltd are only responsible for the goods up to your front door but will place the furniture in situ in your home, subject to clear and safe access.
Wooden furniture is heavy and our deliverymen will always exercise care and skill during delivery. It is important that you are aware that is the responsibility of the customer/homeowner or whoever takes delivery of the furniture.
Delivery is arranged to the convenience of the company in agreement with the customer. While if it is not possible to give specific times, a mobile phone number for contact with the deliverers/erectors on the delivery day will be available. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that arrangements for the receipt of the furniture are made. In the event of the customer failing to keep arrangements which makes delivery impossible, we reserve the right to charge a call out fee of 12.5% of the total retail price of the furniture (s) or forfeit of the deposit (whichever is the greater) At least 48 hours notice for postponement is required or the call out fee will apply.
Upon delivery, if any furniture parts are lost or damaged, we will either repair damaged parts at our discretion or replace damaged parts free of charge. This is providing notification of such shortage or damage is made upon delivery, or in writing within 7 days of delivery. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
The placing in situ of your furniture piece or the erection of any fixed units, can only take place if all areas to the placement area are clear and accessible. In the event of a situ/room not being accessible, our deliverers/erectors will place the furniture piece(s) in a safe place in your property or, if agreed by us, we will arrange the storage and redelivery in which case you will be charged at our charging rate.
If the customer is out when the furniture delivery arrives, the driver will call the customer’s contact number and wait for ten minutes.
Re-delivery can be arranged, but agreed delivery charge will apply
Customers will be notified of the re- delivery date for their order. For local deliveries, we can arrange a delivery date and approximate time. Unfortunately we cannot give a specific time, for either local or distance deliveries, but can inform whether the time will be AM/or PM.
